Some Good Sales in Clothing and Stuff
I don't do this often, but a few cool brands are having good sales right now, so I figured I'd let you know.

A few cool brands are having good sales right now. That's not really what this blog is about, I really only bring up sales about once a year, but I figured it couldn't hurt to let you know
I'm going try to push the cheaper brands closer to the top, in acknowledgement of the fact that I tend to like expensive clothing. I also organized stuff into general-purpose clothing, footwear, accessories, and tailoring.
Some, but not all of these links are affiliate links, or lead to some kind of commission or referral credit for me.
Oh, and I'm probably going to keep adding to this list as people tell me about sales. Feel free to comment with your favorites.
Clothes in General
- Uniqlo is having a sale through 7/6. Here are some of my picks from them, some of which are on sale
- Abercrombie & Fitch is having a sale. I don't know much about their sale cycles these days, but they're affordable and worth a look. Here are some of my picks from them, and... a lot are 50% off, and they weren't on sale before, so this might actually be a pretty good sale.
- J. Crew's sale is currently an extra 50-70% off (depending on how many pieces you buy). Yes, this type of sale is kind of annoying. But I'm trying to include more affordable clothing here. Here are my selections. The stuff near the top should be on sale, the stuff further down might not be.
- Madewell is an extra 30% off sale prices. Here are my picks.
- American Trench has some good pieces on sale, including some knitwear (such as their fantastic keystone hoodies and shaker stitch sweaters), socks (their socks are the best socks), and merino wool beanies for $22 (stop buying acrylic beanies, why would you do that?).
- Stag Provisions is giving 25% off to almost everything sitewide. RRL, Imogene + Willie, Kardo, Miansai... they don't carry anything bad, let's put it like that.
- Todd Snyder is currently offering an extra 20% off. Knowing their patterns, I'd say some pieces will continue to drop in price over the next few weeks, but some of the good ones will sell out, so if you like the price, don't wait. Here are some of my selections.
- Huckberry has so much damn clothing. Here, I narrowed it down for you. That's still 52 pieces, that's about as narrow as I can get it, I'm not going to skip the FOUR CHAMULA HANDKNITS that are still there.
- J. Press is having a sale on classic Ivy pieces. I picked out a few pieces I like here, but I didn't focus on sale stuff then.
- Billy Reid has a decent sale going. Extra 25% off sale prices, among other deals. They do some cool footwear and I really like their suede jackets. Here's some things.
- Frame is having a sale. Here are some of my highlights.
- Freenote Cloth has an extra 25% off its last call page for the 4th of July. They make really good clothes.
- Sid Mashburn is having a sale, they make some good stuff, but it tends to run slim.
- Haven in Canada has an extra 15% off its sale section. It includes cool brands like A.Presse, Human Made, Lemaire, Maple, Auralee, Visvim, and Needles.
- Namu carries fantastic brands like Auralee, Kaptain Sunshine, Casey Casey, Document, and SK Manor Hill. Each of those brands has pieces on sale. Check 'em out.
Footwear
- Tecovas western boots are an extra 20% off sale. I picked out some highlights a while back, but I don't think any of them made it to the sale.
- Astorflex is on sale at Huckberry. They usually have some kind of sale going on, but still. People say their crepe sole models are incredibly comfortable, and I know people who bought Drake's shoes made by Huckberry at ~$500 and were still happy with the value, so... Go for it. Oh, and here are the rest of my recs, in case you missed them. There's some Viberg and Yuketen and stuff in there.
- Grant Stone is offering 15% off its sale selection and 25% off carts of $400+. Its footwear is already very fairly priced, so this is good stuff.
- Oak Street Bootmakers also makes fantastic footwear in the USA, and is surprisingly affordable. Mostly boots here, but some boat shoes / mocs.
Accessories
- Again, American Trench has the best socks, and their merino wool beanies are $22 (seriously, why do people pay money for acrylic beanies, I absolutely cannot believe people do that).
- Bleu de Chauffe has a sale on its cool workwear-style bags. They make good bags.
- Wind-Up Watch Shop has 10% off cool watches, clocks, and accessories. Good watches seldom go on sale, so 10% is not bad. I actually kind of like this silly little clock.
Tailoring
- J. Press carries tailoring, if you're into ivy style.
- Mad King George is at 20% off its custom tailoring through the end of July.
- Sid Mashburn carries tailoring, but it tends to run slim, I wouldn't get their pants.
