A Selection of Sales for Black Friday 2025

I mean, you know you're going to look, you might as well, it couldn't hurt to know what's out there...

A Selection of Sales for Black Friday 2025

Some black friday sales are not that great. Some are. I think these are pretty good, but you have to think for yourself, or else you'll buy everything from all of my affiliate links and I'll be rich. You wouldn't want that, would you?

Table of Contents

Clothing

Brands

  • Uniqlo, as of the time of writing, has a pre-sale going on, until 11/27. Most stuff will get cheaper then, some will sell out. My Highlights include a bunch of their lambswool crewnecks and cardigans, as well as some corduroy and heattech.
  • Banana Republic has 40% off full price, and up to 50% off the sale section. Better yet, come Monday, they'll have 40% off your whole order (including the sale section). I sorted the picks I already had up, so now the stuff on sale is near the top.
  • J. Crew is now down to 50% off your order, except cashmere, tailoring, and chinos, which are 30% off. That 50% is really solid, get yourself a nice barn jacket or something.
  • Madewell is 40% off your entire order, with some denim set to $50 flat.
  • LL Bean is 15% off with code INVITED15. I like a lot of their sweaters, particularly their cotton roll neck with the dog on it.
  • American Trench is 25% off sitewide. They make everything in the USA. I'm on the record praising their socks, but everything they do is pretty great.
  • Unbleached Apparel is 25% off sitewide. The premise here is interesting: nothing they make or carry has been dyed. They carry a lot of great pieces in Ecru, but also use specialized fibers like FoxFibre to do some cool things.
  • Bather is 30% off sitewide. They're known, as their name implies, for swimsuits, but they make great resortwear and a few other cool things too. I particularly like these iridescent swim trunks. Very cool in person.
  • Malloch's is 25% off sitewide. They make really nice knitwear in the UK. And you Europeans thought you weren't going to get deals.
  • Original Madras Trading Company has up to 40% off its sale section. They make beautiful shirts (and other pieces) using incredible, unique handloomed fabrics.
  • Freenote Cloth is 20% off sitewide. That's good.
  • Okay, Fugazi's sale strategy is hilarious. For "Red Friday," they are doing an increasing sale hour by hour, starting at 6am (5%), all the way to 95%. So it's like a game of chicken. Pieces are going to sell out, but the question is, when will that piece you have your eye on sell out? Are you going to wait for 80? are you going to sign onto their site at 90 and see if there's anything left? idk, I find games like this amusing.
  • Ralph Lauren is... 30% off select styles. Not their biggest sale. But it is Ralph Lauren.
  • Todd Snyder is 30% off most full-price stuff, including this incredible jacket in flocked denim, a very cool material where the outer color fades over time to reveal the denim underneath, seriously, get it before it sells out, the short one already sold out. More interestingly, they include some things from other brands, like money clips from Yuketen, and... Well, I'll mention some more below.
  • Simkhai has 20% off sitewide, and a 50% black friday selection. They also have very high rise jeans. A lot of you ask me about that, I don't think it's necessary, but if you want it, here you go.
  • Billy Reid has 20-40% off depending on how mcuh you spend. You'll automatically hit that 40% mark if you buy one of their suede jackets, which I recommend (they do run a little slim, though).
  • Sid Mashburn is 10-25% off sitewide depending on how much you spend.
  • Nili Lotan has a pretty decent selection at 30% off.
  • Brut is 10% off. They were previously a vintage store, but grew to make their own clothing, and then separated the vintage business into Universal Surplus, while keeping Brut as the brand for the stuff they make.
  • Aaaand the Old Jewish Men web store is offering 20% off their goofy, kitschy caps and tees and things.

Multi-Brand Retailers

  • I don't have to tell you guys about Mr. Porter, right? They are known for carrying designer brands, but also for carrying a little bit of everything. Their sale section is going to be bigger than quite a few of these other stores' entire inventories. And it's up to 50% off. Solid start, huh?
  • Nordstrom also has over ten thousand items on sale. I noticed a Margiela Replica fragrance right near the top.
  • Brooklyn Tailors is 20% off sitewide with code "TURKEY20."
  • Division Road is 20% off apparel and accessories. They carry a lot of rugged casual stuff; big Japanese denim brands, Heimat, Dehen 1920, Freenote Cloth... But also brands like De Bonne Facture, Chup, and ts(s).
  • No Man Walks Alone is a favorite of mine with a great selection of niche brands, but also some classic tailoring from Northern Italy.
  • Haven, based in Canada, is offering 30% off its black friday selection, and their end of season sale is also going on right now. They carry a lot of cool stuff, including designer brands, niche japanese brands, cool sneakers, and their own in-house techwear stuff. That is real techwear, using materials like GORE-TEX, and specialized Loro Piana fabrics like Storm System. It's really a lot of the type of clothing you'd like if you spend any time outside.
  • Cultizm is 25% off selected items. That doesn't sound that great, but they carry a lot of good stuff, so I'm including them anyway.
  • Standard & Strange carries some brands that don't allow discounts... so instead, they're giving you $20 in credit for every $100 you spend.
  • Independence Chicago is 30% off a lot of things, including Stan Ray (good pants made in the USA down to ~$60), Rocky Mountain Featherbed (cool Japanese outerwear), Orslow (cool Japanese workwear and denim and stuff), Wythe (western-inspired stuff, flannels, sweatshirts, good stuff), and Buzz Rickson's (I'm tired of explaining good brands, just click and see for yourself). Honestly, if I buy anything this weekend, there's a very good chance it'll be from Independence.
  • Iron Shop Provisions is 10% off sitewide.
  • Red Cast Heritage in Spain is 15% off sitewide. Again, Europe gets to partake in the American obsession with sale shopping!
  • Stag Provisions is 20% off sitewide. As with most of these stores, they carry a lot of rugged Americana, but I'm tired so just click the link already.
  • Blue in Green has 19 pages of good stuff at 25% off. They're known for carrying great Japanese denim brands like Pure Blue Japan, Oni Denim, Momotaro, Sugar Cane, and Full Count (all on sale), but the sale also includes stuff from brands that hate capital letters, like mfpen, s.k. manor hill, and sillage.

Secondhand

  • Vestiare Collective, their curated secondhand clothing, shoes, and accessories are 10% off their usual prices, sitewide. Mostly known for designer pieces.
  • Grandad's Suitcase is 20% off with code Alices20. They mostly curate true vintage Americana. A lot of the stuff will help you understand the name.
  • Wooden Sleepers is 25% off with code BFCM25. Famous vintage shop, a lot of old LL Bean, Eddie Bauer, Woolrich, Carhartt, Brooks Brothers...
  • Universal Surplus (previously known as Brut) is 20% off sitewide. I've shopped here... in the past month or two. Lots of fun stuff, with a focus on milsurp and french workwear.

Footwear

Sneakers

  • Nike has a 50% off the sale section until 11/29, and an extra 25% off if you use the code "ACCESS." I don't know what, if anything, is happening after 11/29. Oh, and there's also a code BFRIDAY, I don't know what the difference is, but it's also that extra 25% off. Get yourself a pair of Cortezzes, maybe.

Dress shoes, Boots, etc.

These are probably the best sales, generally. A lot of these brands are great quality and great value at full price. I have a hard time not putting everything in bold.

  • Beckett Simonon has a few footwear deals going on, including their special, two pairs (men's or womens) for $329. Unfortunately, that can't be used with my discount code, BUTTON15, but you're free to try anyway.
  • BLKBRD Shoemaker is widely considered one of the best values in dress shoes, at about $200 per pair. They're 10% off one pair, or 15% off two.
  • Meermin is also an incredible value in footwear, also about $200 per pair, and they're going to have 40% off select styles.
  • HELM Boots is 30% off sitewide.
  • Tecovas is 20% off sitewide. They make good cowboy boots, but also more accessible western-inspired boots, like the Dean, and some exotic leathers. Here are some favorites of mine.
  • Oak Street Bootmakers has 20-30% off its sale section.
  • Grant Stone is 20% off carts of $450+ (that's probably two pairs). They're known for exceptionally good value, and for their Alden-inspired boots. They use pretty funky leathers too, so check them out.
  • TLB Mallorca is up to 20% off its sale section.
  • Crockett & Jones is 30% off at Todd Snyder again. That's still a ridiculous sentence.

Accessories

Bags

  • Bleu de Chauffe makes fancy French workwear bags. A French brand making true quality bags is having a Black Friday sale. What has the world come to?

Watches

  • Vero Watch Company is having a Black Friday sale. For a cool watch brand, that's saying something.
  • So is Wind Up Watch Shop, and they carry watches from a bunch of brands, including budget brands like Timex and Casio; field watches from Hamilton, Kuoe Kyoto, and, uh, Vero again; and even the minimalist Bauhaus dress watches of Junghans. What's more, they're 10-20% off depending on how much you spend, with the top tier at $2500.

Eyewear

  • Quay makes very funky sunglasses at very affordable prices, and they're somehow 50% off sitewide now, so a lot of pieces under $50. Good way to experiment with unusual styles.

Skincare, Fragrance, etc.

  • Violet Gray (a multi-brand store) is giving 20% off across the board if you spend $250 or more. They carry fancy skincare stuff, fragrance stuff... IDK, I'm not a pro, but I do know they carry good stuff.

Fragrance

  • Memo Paris Memo Paris is 20% off sitewide. They work with a few of my influencer friends, but have they sent me anything? Noooooo. Show them what they're missing, show them how well I drive sales.
  • Maison du Roc is 30% off the whole collection of fragrances. These are all supposedly gender neutral; I would say that Mousse de Cuir is relatively masculine (I smell cocoa and coffee; I do not normally love those scents, but I love this one for some reason), Bois Sacré is pretty neutral, and the other two are fairly feminine. If you miss the sale, you can always use my code BUTTON20, but it appears they don't stack.

Skincare

  • I've heard very good things about L'Occitane. They're expensive, but 20% off full-sized stuff is good, right?

Other Stuff

  • Béis, a luggage brand, is 30% off sitewide with a few exclusions. This brings their carry-ons down to $187.60, which is a great price. I actually really love the suitcase they sent me, it has a bunch of nice little details like a padded handle and a TSA lock stuff.
  • Bose makes good audio products. The sale section has plenty of speakers and headphones, including this speaker, which I love, and the QC2 headphones, which also got great reviews.
  • Our Place does non-teflon kitchen doodads, including titanium and very pretty ceramic pieces. Pots, pans, bakeware, tableware, utensils, and some really cute-looking countertop appliances, like a slow cooker and a toaster oven/air fryer combo (apparently co-designed with J. Kenji Lopez Alt, which is awesome). The sale section is up to 80% off. Yeah, I know, "up to." Still.
  • Material also has aesthetically pleasing kitchen whatnots. They sent me some things; a knife, a whisk, a bar spoon. I like them. I'm not some pro chef, but I like them.
  • The Rocco Fridge is $400 off + free shipping. It's a modular drinks fridge with a very cool design; not something to hide in a corner, but something to prominently display, whether as a bar area or near where you work out or... idk, it's a cool fridge.
